The Forbidden Forest Demo

Welcome to The Forbidden Forest! The Forbidden Forest is an pixel art metroidvania videogame, with a deep, but wholesomely immersive story. It plans to be released on Steam and Windows as of right now, but that can only happen with your help.

I haven't gotten around to signing the program which means THE GAME ISN'T RECOGNISED BY WINDOWS DEFENDER,  SO IF IT REFUSES TO RUN, CLICK MORE INFO, RUN ANYWAY.

You better believe it! We did it again.  As The Forbidden Forest begins it's Alpha stage of development, we're here to celebrate with yet another demo! This time, nearly everything has been improved. From the menus, to the gameplay, to visual improvements and controller support, this installment seems to have improved everything! While we unfortunately can't list all the wonderful improvements here, we can direct you to https://www.stonestudiosgames.com/changelogs for the full list of changes. This demo only works for 64-bit installations of Windows. This demo's data is not linked to the previous'.

Hooray again! The third and most likely final demo is now available! It's still possible for more demos to be made in the future, but now development is going to go solely into making the final project. There is finally a "close the program" button located in the main menu. We're currently working on controller support. While this demo does identify controllers. The actually controlling is scuffed, and won't work. For now please use a keyboard and mouse. This demo does not replace the previous' data.

Hooray! The Second Demo is now available! I've left the original demo here as well though, in case you want to mess around with it's glitchy goodness. Do be careful though, the save data, is linked between them and the shortcuts will replace each other.

Please keep in mind this is an early demo release. There will be bugs, if there is, be sure to leave them in a comment below, that way I can fix it and make the game even better.
